I had a pair of the Taos pewter colored sandals that I wore out and wanted to find another one like them. I came to realize in my search for "pewter" colored sandals, that "silver" colored was too light and shiny for my taste, and the only sandal I found that had the nice pewter shade was Taos. In fact I tried to buy two other styles but they were sold out everywhere. I'm so glad I found these as they are well made, extremely comfortable, even from the beginning, and "classy" looking for a sandal. Plus, I have a narrow foot and it is hard for me to find sandals that make my foot feel very supported, and these shoes w/ their adjustable straps do just that. Great choice, wonderful shoe indeed!
