This is actually my second pair of Taos shoes. I was given the first pair as a gift and I absolutely loved how comfortable they were. I wore them all the time and figured my wardrobe could use a secondary style so I could change things up. I went with these Oxfords because I figured they would go with anything.I have had these shoes now for a few months and I love them. I work at a high end retail location, so looking nice and being comfortable are musts! These shoes are really comfortable to work in and the heel isn't too high. The leather was a bit tight at first, but it is wearing in nicely. I would not recommend these for food service type jobs as it is recommended you wear a no slip shoe, but if you are in any other retail environment I would highly recommend them.There are two reasons I am returning this shoe. 1) the back of the shoe is so low that when walking, my heals lift completely out of the shoes; they might as well be open-backed slip-ons. If you remove the footbed this is less of a problem. It's like the shoe was designed to have no support, and the footbed added as an afterthought without regard for the original design. 2) They are matte black, not glossy as pictured. They look much cheaper and less professional in person.Beautiful and comfortable shoe that is light and easy on the feet. And such comfort is, frankly, exceptional! I advise others buy a half size up. Love them!!!! Yay!!!Taos are my "go to shoes" and these are just what I like. The color is great, the fit is great and all in all they are great. I wish they were in brown, too.Medium width was to narrow... ran a little short
