These are great for work and pretty comfortable. If worn with shorter pants, it feels a little bit like witch shoes, but I like the fact that it's not a traditional loafer, and can be worn either formally or casually. I'm on my feet almost all day in the classroom, so it's nice to have a pair of work shoes that don't look frumpy.
