I haven't put these shoes to the test of where them all day but in the short spurts that I have worn them they have been comfortable and I felt they were shoes that didn't need to be broken in. I wear a 10 narrow for reference and the shoes felt like they were a true narrow. I have never owned a pair of Naot shoes before so I don't have anything to compare them with. I do like the shoes and I think they are stylish as well as comfortable.These are beautiful shoes and they are extremely comfortable for me. I have had a lot of foot problems - two separate hip surgeries left me with foot drop in both feet. For almost four years, I wore a brace on my right leg and for the last two years I also had one on my left. Earlier this year I started to get ability to lift both feet and started walking without the braces.My gait is not normal. I tried on a pair of Naot Pamela sandals in a local shoe store and my husband told me that I walked "normal" in them. I bought those, then purchased this color from Amazon. I love them. We went to Bar Harbor and my husband was amazed at all the walking I could do with these sandals.The Good News: I absolutely love the arch support that NAOT delivers in all of their shoes (at least the ones that I have tried on). The sole is just heavenly for my plantar fascitiis! The width of their shoes run narrow, which I like because my feet are a bit narrow. But if you have wide feet, don't bother with NAOT shoes, they will be too narrow for you.The Bad News: NAOT has a terrible problem with sizing. I am a size 11 or a 42 in EU sizes, but I have found that most NAOT shoes run 2 sizes too small. Therefore, instead of ordering my normal size 42, I have learned to order a size 44. So, this time I did just that, but found that the Pamela Wedge Sandal was just 1 size too long for me. NAOT has no consistency in sizing!!!If I liked the sandal, I would order the 43 and hope for the best, but I don't. The toe strap is too far back on the sandal and therefore does not cover enough of my toes: Not very attractive!The strap across the toe is quite narrow and hurts my bunion - on the foot without a bunion they are fairly comfortable. It's hard to find plain white sands that are simple and attractive so I had high hopes for these as Naot sandals are my favorites and have aways been supremely comfortable on me. But I had to send these back because of that bunion and narrow strap (which is not adjustable) problem. So I am still looking for nice white summer sandals.Maybe if I didn't have a bunion I would give them five stars but probably not as the toe strap is so narrow and not adjustable.My favorite brand of shoesAt first I felt like there was not enough straps to hold my foot in place. It is a bit larger than expected, but as I walked with them more my feet got used to the larger fitting. My favorite part about them is that they go with everything!Excellent sandal. This is a very well designed, high quality sandal. The leather is very soft and the adjustable strap at the ankle assures a snug fit. I usually prefer an adjustable strap at the vamp, but in a size 38, this sandal fit my somewhat wide foot just perfectly. The cork sole and leather insole make the sandal very comfortable and cool, unlike synthetic footbeds.The shoe fits well, is very comfortable, and I love the lizard leather, but I just can't do the "bling" of the rhinestone studded buckle. If Naot made this sandal with an un-bedazzeled buckle I would buy one in every color. Sigh.
