These boots are a good buy. I compared to theTimberland Ellendale and the Taos Cove boot was far superior in quality, style, design and comfort. The color was more golden than it looked online, but I preferred this. I liked that they were designed to look a bit worn right out of the box. The sueded leather does not mark easily, so should wear well. The zipper is very convenient for quick on/off. The uppers are genuine leather except for the dark brown cuff. They were immediately comfortable and fit true to size, though if you're between sizes like I was I recommend sizing up. Definitely a keeper.
