I love these so much and get nothing but compliments when I wear them. High quality material, very comfortable.It started to rain and ran to the closet to get my bright red, Banana Republic boots and then remembered I had donated them since they were cracked. I also have wider calves and even before they only perfectly fit. So I searched wide and far on Amazon for bright red rain boots and settled on this red polka dot pair because of1) price2) style3) credibility/brand4) water proofPrice:This pair is cheaper than other brands on Amazon, and I do not have the patience to wait for the perfect pair to go on sale. I would have liked to pay less for the ankle boot, but this pair was cheaper.Style:If they had a plain red I might have gone for that, but these match my Minnie Mouse backpack and hat and can match my bright yellow umbrella.Credibility:I wanted shoes from a brand with a physical address. This company does not have a store front but they have a seemingly credible website. The boots are made in China, but at least they are upfront about it.Waterproofness: Sadly, it is not raining so I cant test them out and maybe I will remember to update this later. It looks OK for construction, not as polished or sturdy as my Banana Republic pair. It’s really just rubber. While I can imagine the rubber tearing, only time will tell. Maybe if you leave them out in the sun or do rubber maintenance.The pair of boots fit comfortably with fuzzy socks, my calf fits fine. There is an adjustable band on the side which has a rubber strap and metal buckle.This might be helpful: my calf is 41 cm with leggings. The boot is 41.2 cm. The boot looks like it can be extended by another 10 cm. So at least for a UK 6, the boot leg width can be 41-51 cm, though it might be possible to stretch the rubber if the calf was larger than 51cm.There is some arch support which reminded me of my last pair of non-Banana Republic ankle boots I wore actually in surgery for HOURS - there was no arch support and my flat feet would be in pain I had to add the fanciest insoles I could find and I would wear fuzzy socks with them too. This pair will be for regular rain wear so I doubt I will be in these for HOURS, but the slight arch is nice and I will try them out without insoles.The soles seem to have nice grip which is important. My perfect size is US 6.5 wide, but I usually wear size US 8-8.5 M for Converse and boots and purchased UK 6/EU39 with some room the tip.The inner lining is just okay. It looked like the pictures. Someone said they are well constructed and I think they are OK, but my Banana Republic pair was way nicer inside. If the construction was AMAZIN, then I would give 5 stars. Besides the arch the inside is pretty utilitarian.There is a rubber smell but it doesn’t bother me, because thats what rubber smells like. It’s the same smell when you buy flip flops. I don’t know why you need to put your face in your boots anyway.So far so good! I already had someone say how much they liked them the first time I wore them out.I wear these everyday. We just moved on your to property. Most days, I even wear them into town. It’s pointless to buy just for the cute design knowing they will break after a few wears.They are absolutely amazing! Comfy, colourful, high enough to wade through any puddle, everything you would look for in a welly ...except that once you’ve got them on, you’re stuck forever! They don’t FEEL too small, but it takes 5 minutes to get each one off and strains my leg muscles. They are gorgeous, but I am seriously put off putting them on! I contacted the company and they said they hadn’t heard of that before. ?♀️ I would recommend sizing up.These wellies are nice, slimmer fit than regular wellies which is great as I hate having to wear 2/3 pairs of socks so my feet aren't rattling around as I walk. Only been on one muddy walk but they don't seem to let moisture in and are comfortable. Removed one star as the colours are not as vibrant as the listing pic. The red is maroon rather than red and generally all the colours are muted shades rather than bright rainbow. Hopefully they will last better than the cheaper wellies I've tried so far.Absolutely love these. I'm a size 3 (even a 2 sometimes) and these fit perfect with Welly socks on. Would highly recommend.Lovely wellies although I’ve only just received them it’s possibly a little too early to tell. I thought they were slightly too large at first but as you would wear thick socks they are good for size. Very comfortable feel good around the calf and great adjustable strap, very good height too.It is quite difficult to find wellingtons as beautiful as these in Germany.Excellent fit, nice appearance
